Our school focuses on the holistic development of the child and, for this reason, it is very important to engage students in different co-curricular activities so that each and every student can recognize his ability. Various activities have been organized from time to time. Some of them are mentioned below.
- VAN MAHOTSAV was organized to make the children understand the importance of trees in our lives. Various students prepare poems, slogans, plays, etc. followed by tree plantation on school premises.
- DEBATES AND QUIZ ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS Students are given different topics and the mentors encourage them to present their views considering both sides of the coin. This helps in enhancing the student’s cognitive ability and many other skills.
- DECLAMATION In this, students present their views on the burning issues. This helps in improving the general knowledge of the students.
- EXTEMPORE In this, students are given a topic on the spot and they have to speak on this topic for 1 minute. This helps in broadening the views in students’ minds and showcasing their views on the spot among their fellow classmates.
- DRAWING COMPETITION & CARD MAKING ACTIVITIES Each and every student has a different set of creativity skills. These competitions are mostly held among the junior classes. In drawing, every student is given the same topic to draw on according to their creative vision. In card making, students are told about the different days/occasions we celebrate and they make cards keeping the importance of these days in their minds.
